Here are lists of deer-resistant trees, shrubs, and flowers for various types of gardens. The plants were chosen from numerous cooperative extension offices and other research reports throughout the United States.
Please note that "deer-resistant" does NOT mean "deer-proof!" Hungry deer will eat any plant if food is scarce enough, and deer will have different likes and dislikes from one area to the next. You'll have to do some experimenting in your own yard. However, these lists are a good place to start.
